To One and All….

The past year has been busy and filled with many challenges, changes and `surprises. The move from the Dodge Street location to the new site at 1418 South 60th Street, about 2 miles southwest of the old location has been well received and could not have been accomplished without the help of many friends and family. Being near Elmwood Park G.C. and AkSarBen Village has improved traffic flow and brought in many new customers. Our friends from further away have found us easier to find (just north of the 60th Street exit on I-80). We continue to expand on our club offerings, new and vintage, as well as hickory offerings. Vintage clothing has recently joined us in the way of Capas wool and linen golf hats and T. Barry Knicker vests, socks and knickers.

Randy continues to improve and fine tune players swings and we welcome PGA professionals J. R. Reyes and Mike Stolarskyj to our instructional family. The new 19th Hole putting and chipping green has been a big hit already and gives everyone a chance to work on the short game. The “Lounge Area” has also been a hit when someone needs a quiet spot to swap stories with a fellow player, watch the Golf Channel on the new flat screen, or just kick back with a cold Coke for a few minutes.

If this all sounds like a commercial for Classic Golf then I have to apologize. I am proud of what we have accomplished here and how we have continued the legacy of Classic Golf. If you haven’t been to the new place yet we hope you will have an opportunity to do so very soon. It is not possible without you. We thank you for your support and most of all, your friendship.
